Before ConceptBase can be started, you have to decode it. To do this, please perform the following steps:
Register your installation via the URL
or via sending an email to
This email must contain the full postal adress of your institution.
You'll receive an email, which contains decode information.
This email must be saved into a file named regInfo, that has to
be placed into the directory
$CB_HOME/sun4/lib
if you are running ConceptBase on a Sparc-compliant machine or into
$CB_HOME/i86pc/lib
if you are running ConceptBase on an Intel-PC.
Read the license agreement, placed in
$CB_HOME/doc, sign it and send it to
