ConceptBase operates on SUN workstations and x86 PC's under Solaris 2.4. Implementation languages are ProLog by BIM 4.0 [BIM90] (in particular for logic-based transformation and compilation tasks) and C++ (in particular for persistent object storage and retrieval).
The X11-based usage environment is written in TCL/TK with exception of the graph browser implemented in C based on the Andrew toolkit. A machine with at least 16 MB of main memory is recommended for efficiency, other system requirements are mentioned in the Installation Guides (appendix A).
