The Display Instances facility is used to display all instances of a given object. Direct Instances are computed as well as inherited ones. The Display Instances tool is called from the ConceptBaseWorkbench menubar (see Section 4.1.1).
The Display Instances window (see Figure 4.8) has the following features:
- Class String Field
- Enter the wished origin of the instances to be displayed.
- First listbox
- contains the found instances of the class
- History listbox
- contains previous origins.
- Display Instances Button
- Takes the selected item as new origin to display its instances in the first list box.
- Telos Editor Button
- Copies the frame of the selected object into the Telos-editor field of the ConceptBaseWorkbench.
- Cancel Button
- Leaves the Display Instances tool.
- Help Button
- Shows a help text.
If an item of the listboxes is selected by the
return-key
or
double-click
then a "`Display Instances"' operation is performed with the selected object as origin.
