Display Queries supports asking queries with an automatic dialogue to fill the required parameters of the query.
Figure 4.5: The Display Queries Window.
Figure 4.5 shows the features of the Display Queries tool:
- Listbox
- Contains all Queries that are known to the server. To pick an item by
return-key
or
double-click
has the same effect as the button Ask.
- Ask Button
- Opens a dialogue to determine the parameters of the query (see Figure 4.6). The Ask Parameter dialogue requests all necessary parameters (if there are any) and substitutes them in the query. You can choose if you'd like instances or specialisations of your parameter in the appropriate options menu next to the corresponding parameter string field.
Figure 4.6 demonstrates the call of the query exists which requires one objname parameter.
- Telos Editor Button
- Copies the frame of the selected object to the Telos-editor field of the ConceptBaseWorkbench.
- Cancel Button
- Leaves the Display Queries tool.
- Help Button
- Shows a help text.
