Generic Model Management System

The Goal of Model Managemetn is the development of new technologies and mechanisms to support the integration, merging, eveolution and matching of models. These and other manipulations are to be performed by a set of model management operators (Copy, Diff, Match, Merge, ..).

Therefore Lehrstuhl Informatik 5 has designed the generic metamodel GeRoMe, which forms the basis for the protypical tool GeRoMeSuite. GeRoMeSuite is a framework for different model management operators. With GeRoMeSuite models and mappings can be stellt ein Rahmenwerk für verschiedene Model-Management-Operationen dar. Mit GeRoMeSuite können Modelle und Abbildungen managed, models can be integrated and merged, and mappings can be composed and executed.

The task for the student research assistant will be to support the further development and refinement of GeRoMeSuite by implementing and enhancing different components.
