Short Biography

Yiwei Caohas a bachelor degree in architecture from Shanghai Tongji University, China. She received her diploma degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University. She is now a research assistant at Chair Information Systems (Informatik 5).

Research Interests:

	Spatial databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
	Metadata standards and XML databases
	Web-based applications of information systems in cultural heritage and tourism
