The Chair of Information Systems and
Database Technologies offers
HiWi position within 12 hours/week. For our new cluster project CONTICI we are looking for a student worker for development and maintenance of tools for social network analysis. New analysing tools for monitoring, saving and investigation of the forum and news groups data and services deployed on the websites have to be developed. Thereby is to take into the account, that forums and news groups contain a lot of non-relevant information. Therefore filtering mechanism based on previous research in our group has to be designed. Development of the methods for saving of the filtering process results into our relational database (DB2) is the next essential step of this task. Finally, the different analysing methods for the saved data has to be drafted and implemented in a way that each of them can be switched on and off separately. Qualifications: *Skilled in Perl
